Tim Fawcett, PhD Scientific Director | BTI

Tim Fawcett, PhD has a PhD in Biochemistry and Plant Physiology and completed post-doctoral training in Plant Molecular Biology and Molecular Response to Cellular Stress.  He has been part of the BTI program since its inception 25 years ago and has taught and mentored over 700 students through the program.  He has been the Scientific Director since 2001 and teaches the molecular biology portion of the laboratory associates’ program, so he will be the primary collaborator with regards to the curriculum and module development and integration.
