Kelsey Guthrie, MGC, CGC Genetic Counselor | JHU
Kelsey Stauff Guthrie, MGC, CGC, is a licensed and certified genetic counselor who has worked in the Department of Genetic Medicine at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, MD for nine years as a pediatric and adult genetic counselor. She graduated from University of Maryland Baltimore genetic counseling program in May 2017 and went to the University of Maryland for her undergraduate degree, majoring in secondary education and biology. Her clinical expertise includes metabolic disorders, Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia, hematology, ophthalmology, pharmacogenomics, and renal genetics. Drawing on her former career as a teacher, she also remains heavily involved in education endeavors, including assisting with the development of the Genetic Assistant Certificate program through Johns Hopkins, as well providing direct classroom instruction and clinical supervision to trainees.
